REVIVAL ACADEMY OF DANCE (RAD)
We are committed to making certain through care, ACCEPTANCE and support we INSPIRE our students to explore their creativity, soar above their limits, and dream big.
Our teachers are PASSIONATE about building the CONFIDENCE of each dancer by providing all ages with progressive lessons, positive feedback and the tools necessary to reach their own personal level of excellence.
We are faithful to our community and encourage dancers to join us in our mission to make this world a better place. With all this, our students and parents will grow as ONE FAMILY bonded together through dance.
There are closed circuit televisions installed in the waiting area for viewing throughout the dance season. When the waiting room is closed, we operate on Zoom!
We have two studios with dance flooring (dance shoes only please!), mirrors, and plenty of space for dancers to learn and thrive.

The studio is closed the following holidays:
Attendance
Reimbursements will not be given to students who miss class or for classes cancelled by Melissa due to inclement weather or scheduling conflicts. On occasion a substitute teacher will teach classes due to our vigorous competition schedule. If for any reason a substitute teacher is not available, than the opportunity to make-up the missed class will be provided. Students are allowed one month to make-up any missed classes. A schedule of appropriate make-up times will be provided.
Cancellations
To find out if your child’s class has been cancelled due to inclement weather, please call the studio at 508-892-5133 or check our Facebook page. Email's will be sent via DSP to individual classes upon cancellation.
Monthly Newsletters are available at the studio and on-line the first week of every month. We ask that all parents take the time to read a copy of the newsletter. The newsletters contain important information regarding dance classes and studio details.
Fundraisers
Revival Academy of Dance students and parents will be offered fundraising opportunities throughout the year! We welcome your help with fundraisers. Monies collected will be for the sole purpose of supporting the Phoenix Company Dancers.
PLEASE NOTE: Periodically throughout the dance season your children will be photographed during class. These photographs will be used in an end of the year recital calendar that will be sold as a fundraiser on recital night, for advertising purposes, and on promotional products. If you DO NOT want your child’s picture taken please notify the staff of Revival Academy of Dance ASAP. Thank you for your cooperation.
The Phoenix Company Dancers will sponsor studio parties several times during the year. This will allow the Revival Academy of Dance students the opportunity to mix, mingle and meet each other.
Class Conduct
Although we try to provide a friendly atmosphere at Revival Academy of Dance, it is important for students to be respectful and quiet during class. This will help teachers and assistant teachers of Revival Academy of Dance to provide a nurturing and learning environment. Please remember to encourage each other in a supportive manner and to work together as a team. There is a ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY for disruptive behavior during class and in the waiting area. Students not conforming to this rule will be asked to leave class.
Repeat incidences will result in being asked to leave the studio permanently.
RAD Gives Back
RAD Gives Back is a group of dancers and mothers whose sole purpose is to give back to the community. During the year they participate in community service activities such as: collecting food for CHIP-IN, collecting items for Abbey House, Thanksgiving Baskets, and clothing drives. If you would like to help out or know of people in need please contact Melissa Miller through the studio.
Picture Day
Pictures of the dancers in costume will be taken by Mike Nyman at the dance studio in early spring. Mike Nyman has been photographing dancers for many years. He provides us with high quality photos at reasonable prices. His work can be viewed on his website at http://mikenymanphotography.com.
